Lots of people ring us and enquire about making their scooter go faster. First things first, most engines are 30 / 40 + years old, overhaul the engine, use good quality parts, also remember the crank is the heart beat of your engine. Once you have overhauled your engine, now you can see about making it go faster. Reliability is the key, old Italian proverb (we was going to say Chinese, but Lambrettas are Italian!!) pointless doing 90mph for a few miles, much better to go 60mph for many hundreds of miles, you will get there quicker.

| Custom TV200 which although it is many years old, for any one who has ever been to Amsterdam, this is without doubt the most photographed scooter in the city of weed! The sensi seed themed custom paint work sat in the lobby of the Sensi Seed museum in Amsterdam for many years. The TV200 is an original UK supplied scooter, with some local history attached (not documented). A local farmer was owed money by a person who could not pay, so the TV was given as payment for that debt, then Andy Brown a local scooterist brought the TV200 and after a small accident used the insurance claim money to have thew TV painted in its current theme. Engine all standard, and although the scooter is partially stripped, it is totally complete and a very easy project for somebody to recomission again.

So dont wait about on this Li 125 third series as the last ones went within hours of them going on the web site! The third series really is in good orignal condition, another one of those ones you wouldnt want to restore it as the value of scooters in original condition is rising. Engine is siezed through being stored, but a good engine service and overhaul and this will make a lovely scooter.
