Scooters For Sale

<< Previous Page | 1 2 3 4 5 | Next Page >>

Scooters in a blue back ground
are imported from Italy,
and projects that require work.
Scooters in a red back ground
are UK registered with tax & MOT,
ready to ride away.

Lots of people ring us and enquire about making their scooter go faster. First things first, most engines are 30 / 40 + years old, overhaul the engine, use good quality parts, also remember the crank is the heart beat of your engine. Once you have overhauled your engine, now you can see about making it go faster. Reliability is the key, old Italian proverb (we was going to say Chinese, but Lambrettas are Italian!!) pointless doing 90mph for a few miles, much better to go 60mph for many hundreds of miles, you will get there quicker.

Model: Lambretta Serveta

Price: £2295

Status: Sprinter

Year: 19??

Details
As you can see from the photo, our sprinter is designed to get off the line quickly! Built using all off the shelf parts, including carbs and exhausts so show how fun and easy sprinting to be, this Imola 186cc kitted scooter is very good at getting off down the strip. To put things into perspective, a BMW M3 runs the standing quarter mile at around 16 seconds, which is roughly the time it takes our 30 year old Lambretta to get there as well, while most standard TS1 road going scooters can run around 17 to 19 seconds! Below is some of the technical specification and details behind our sprinter. Oh and its fully road legal should you want to use it on the road as well :-)

Body Standard, no rear running boards or tool box, other wise totally factory standard.
The Imola sprinter is a standard 186 Imola cylinder kit, with an additional finger port added to the cylinder and casing, no other porting work has been carried out. The Varitronic is a standard off the shelf kit running 25 degrees advance and 17 degrees at full retard. This scooter is a full bodied standard Lambretta Serveta, which is road legal, with MOT, tax, full lights etc. The only thing from standard apart from the engine, is we took the tool box out, and added front dampers. This scooter is a fully road legal scooter and was sprinted this season to show that sprinting on a standard machine can be cheap and fun. Every component on this scooter can be brought off the shelf.

Model: Lambretta dl200

Price: Deposit taken

Status: Original

Year: 1969

Details
1969 dl200. Frame # 2537**, Engine # 2539**. In exceptional original condition, with mostly original paint and is straight as a die. Imported from Italy 5-6 years ago, it was carefully disassembled and cleaned up, with a few of the bodywork parts painted to blend with the rest of the bike, then recommissioned with an emphasis on originality (with engine and forks rebuilt). It retains all Italian parts including seat cover, silencer, SCM rear shock, CEV lights, original locks and keys, even the rear mudflap and the minor fixings throughout are originals. The only deviations from standard specification are MBD 12v electronic ignition (lightened, strengthened flywheel and re-worked stator), AF road-race crank, nylon lined cables, 5-plate clutch (green plates), black sprint rack and a low-fuel warning light system fitted within the original speedo unit (itself reconditioned and fitted with a NOS 90 mph face). Needless to say, an example like this is extremely rare and is far too good to ?restore?. It even comes with the original factory toolkit in it?s black plastic wallet, as well as the Italian supplying dealers tool wallet (with original Magnetti-Marelli spark plug), dl200 owners handbook, 1972 Italian tax-disc and an unused UK service book. We even have a pair of original Pirelli tyres that could be fitted (for display purposes only) if required. A rare opertunity to buy such a lovely scooter, dont miss out! UK registered and on the road.
